Mean Green Guacamole Salsa

Creamy avocado and tomatillo dip - ideal for chips or topping grilled meat.
Ingredients:
10fresh tomatillos, husks removed
2fresh jalapeno peppers, stems removed
1bunchfresh cilantro, stems trimmed
3avocados, peeled and pitted
1tablespoongarlic powder
salt to taste
Instructions:
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then simmer tomatillos and jalapenos until tomatillos are bright green and tender, about 10 minutes.
Combine fresh cilantro, ripe avocados, simmered tomatillos, and boiled jalapenos in a blender, blending until velvety, which should take around 1 to 2 minutes. Adjust the consistency by adding approximately 1 tablespoon of tomatillo cooking water if the salsa is too thick.
Pause the whirring blender, then enhance the salsa with garlic powder and salt to your liking. Give it a quick blend to incorporate the seasonings, and then scoop it into a serving bowl.
