Impress guests with tasty turkey meatball stuffed crescent rolls - the perfect party appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter, or as needed
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix (such as Lipton®)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury®
  • 1 egg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease 2 cookie sheets with butter.
  • Combine ground turkey with onions, savory onion soup mix, fresh parsley, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and a dash of pepper. Shape the mixture into approximately 48 small meatballs.
  • Unwrap 1 package of crescent rolls, leaving the other in the refrigerator. Separate the dough along the perforated lines. Cut each triangle into thirds. Fill the center of each piece with a meatball, wrap the dough around it, and seal by pinching. Arrange the stuffed rolls seam-side down on a prepared cookie sheet.
  • Use the second roll of crescent dough to wrap the remaining meatballs. Whisk an egg in a bowl and brush the egg wash over each roll.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the meatball reaches an internal temperature of at least 160°F (71°C). Serve while warm.
