Toasted pine nuts, ham, basil, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, pasta, oil, and vinegar create a delicious and unique dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package farfalle pasta
  • 1 pound chorizo sausage, crumbled
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips
  • 0.5 cup pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 0.25 cup red wine vinegar
Instructions:
  • Cook the pasta in a pot of generously salted boiling water until it reaches the perfect al dente texture.
  • Brown chorizo in a pan over medium heat. Next, add nuts and brown them without burning. Add garlic and then remove from heat.
  • Drain the pasta and combine it in a large bowl with the chorizo mixture, basil, cheese, and tomatoes. Whisk together olive oil and vinegar, then pour over the pasta and toss to combine. Serve and enjoy!
