Decadent triple chocolate dessert that's a breeze to whip up!
Ingredients:
  • 250g butter, chopped
  • 200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 64.38 gm milk
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 32.50 gm cocoa powder
  • 100g milk chocolate, finely chopped
  • double cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C/140°C fan-forced, and prepare a 6cm-deep, 22cm round cake pan by greasing it and lining it with baking paper.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine butter, dark chocolate, and milk. Stir and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until smooth and melted. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes before using.
  • Combine sugar and eggs with the chocolate mixture and whisk until smooth. Sift flour and cocoa over the mixture and whisk to combine. Gently fold in half of the milk chocolate. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining milk chocolate on top. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let it cool completely in the pan before serving with cream.
