Spicy Mexican sauce perfect for burritos, chips, and more!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cups water
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, chili powder, onion powder, oregano, and salt in a small bowl.
  • In a large saucepan, warm oil over low heat. Gradually whisk in the flour mixture until smooth. Slowly pour water into the mixture, whisking continuously until well combined. Simmer the gravy for 5 minutes, then let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
