Delicious layers of beef, refried beans, and melted cheeses make this a crowd-pleasing party dish perfect for New Year's or the Super Bowl.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chile peppers
  • 1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a large deep skillet, sauté the ground beef and onions over medium-high heat until the onions are soft and the ground beef is evenly browned. Remove from heat.
  • Combine drained beef with salsa, refried beans, green chile peppers, and black olives. Spread mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with slices of cream cheese and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and bubbly.
