Elevate your lasagna game with zesty taco seasoning and hearty black beans in this skillet twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ lasagna
  • 2 tablespoons from 1 container (6.25 oz) Old El Paso™ 25% Less Sodium Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 cup shredded taco-seasoned cheese blend (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until fully cooked; then drain.
  • Combine hot water, milk, uncooked pasta, sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper box, and taco seasoning mix in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes with occasional stirring. Add beans, frozen corn, and salsa; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer again for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and uncover (sauce will thicken). Sprinkle with cheese and let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
