Create a crowd-pleasing taco quiche with beef, salsa, and cheese for your next brunch gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 5 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar chunky salsa
  • 0.5 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfectly heated cooking environment.
  • In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salsa, bell pepper, onion, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add ground beef. Sauté until beef is crumbled, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes. Remove any excess grease. Mix in taco seasoning.
  • Evenly layer the seasoned meat mixture into the pie crust resting in a 9-inch pie dish. Gently pour the egg mixture on top of the beef filling.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until a knife inserted into the center of the quiche comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving warm.
