Microwave chocolate fudge cake

Whip up a quick and decadent microwave chocolate cake to satisfy your sweet tooth in a flash!
Ingredients:
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 32.50 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 225.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 57.50 gm walnut crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 193.13 gm milk
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
  • 180g dark chocolate
  • 83.33 gm thickened cream
Instructions:
  • Prepare the 20cm-square microwave-safe dish by greasing it and lining its base and sides with baking paper.
  • In a bowl, mix sugar, cocoa, flour, and walnuts. Add egg, milk, and butter. Stir thoroughly to combine. Transfer mixture to a dish.
  • Cook in your microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (75%) for 6-7 minutes until slightly firm to the touch.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate and cream. Stir and cook for 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth.
  • Flip the cake onto a wire rack lined with baking paper, then slice it into 8 pieces. Drizzle with sauce and enjoy with a side of ice cream.
