Effortlessly poach eggs in a mug in just 2 minutes using a microwave. Elevate your dishes with perfect poached eggs for salads, avocado toast, Eggs Benedict, or roasted veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup room temperature water
Instructions:
  • Heat the water in the microwave: Place 1/4 cup water in a microwave-safe 8-ounce glass measuring cup or sturdy mug. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the water is steaming but not rapidly boiling.
  • Crack an egg into the water, gently pierce the yolk with a toothpick, and cover the cup with plastic wrap (or use a small microwave-safe saucer).
  • Microwave the egg on high for an additional 35 seconds.
