Indulgent milk chocolate-filled heart treats for the whole family to enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 250g butter, softened
  • 2.20 gm vanilla bean extract
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 562.50 ml flour
  • 32.50 gm rice flour
  • 225g Milk Chocolate Melts
Instructions:
  • Beat the butter, vanilla, and sugar until fluffy, then mix in the sifted flours to form a soft dough. Roll the dough between two sheets of baking paper to 3mm thickness, and refrigerate for 15 minutes or until firm.
  • Use a 7-8cm cutter to make heart shapes and a 2cm cutter for the center. Reroll the dough to create additional biscuits. Place them on greased trays and bake at 150°C for 25 minutes or until they turn pale golden. Let them cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before transferring to cool completely. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
  • Line trays with baking paper. Gently melt 2/3 of the chocolate in a glass bowl over simmering water. Remove from heat, stir in the rest of the chocolate until smooth. Transfer melted chocolate to a piping bag and fill the center of each biscuit. Let chocolate set at room temperature and store in an airtight container.
