Irresistible mini bacon-wrapped sausages in a delicious sweet and savory sauce - perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb bacon (14 slices)
  • 1 package (1 lb) cocktail-size smoked link sausages (40 sausages)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler. Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Also, spray the broiler rack and pan with cooking spray. Cut each bacon slice into 3 pieces. Wrap each piece around a sausage, securing it with a toothpick, then place them on the rack in the pan.
  • Place the dish under the broiler, ensuring it is about 6 inches away from the heat source. Cook for 12 to 16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is perfectly crispy.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir frequently until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is bubbly.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the sausages from the broiler pan into a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the sausages and coat them evenly with the sauce.
  • Bake for approximately 20 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately.
