French-inspired mini cheese balls served with crunchy baguette slices.
Ingredients:
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 package (10 to 11 oz) chèvre (goat) cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher (coarse) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 cups crumbled Roquefort cheese (12 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped shallot
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Marcona almonds
  • Toasted baguette slices
Instructions:
  • Combine Basic Cheese Ball Ingredients in a large bowl and mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Mix in Flavor Stir-Ins. Roll into 1-inch balls using dampened hands. Chill until firm for approximately 1 hour. If not using right away, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 1 month.
  • Combine Coating ingredients in a small bowl. Roll balls in the mixture before serving with baguette slices, if desired.
