Mini Muesli Salted Caramel Apple Crisps

Indulge in a divine mini dessert of toasted oats muesli, baked cinnamon apples, and salted caramel drizzled over ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of Nature Valley™ Toasted Oats Muesli Original
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3-4 Granny Smith apples peeled & sliced thin
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. salted caramel sauce
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F for the crumble and filling. Mix melted butter, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and toasted oats in a large bowl.
  • Combine until the brown sugar is fully melted and all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Smoothly spread the mixture on a baking sheet, ensuring an even layer. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool down before breaking it into pieces.
  • Peel apples and slice thinly. Combine brown sugar, flour, melted butter, lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl. Gently mix in apples. Arrange coated apples in a dish and drizzle with salted caramel sauce. Bake for 30-35 minutes until caramelized. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • In individual trifles or serving glasses, alternate layers of crumble and apple filling until the top is reached. Finish with scoops of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt and a generous drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
