Garlic bread crust surrounds cheesy pizza "cupcakes" with your favorite toppings for a fun twist on pizza!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or to taste
  • 1 (6 ounce) package sliced pepperoni, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) while generously greasing a 24-cup mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a 12x18-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Slice dough into 24 squares using a pizza cutter. Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices on each square to ensure they can be enclosed in the dough. Lift each square, wrap dough around the toppings, and seal shut by pinching. Place seam-side down in the prepared muffin cups.
  • Coat the dough balls with olive oil, then season with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Finish by sprinkling Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake until the top turns a beautiful golden brown in the preheated oven, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan over gentle medium-low heat.
  • Take the pizza "cupcakes" out of the oven and present them with a side of warm marinara sauce for dipping.
