Mini Sunflower Cakes

Sunflower mini cakes bursting with sweet flavor to brighten your day!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • Yellow food color, if desired
  • 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease and lightly flour a sunflower mini pan, or spray it with baking spray with flour.
  • Prepare the cake batter following the instructions on the box, enhancing it with food color. Fill each cup of the pan about three-fourths full with the colorful batter.
  • Bake for 18 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes. Remove cakes from the pan and place sunflower side up on a cooling rack. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips onto the center of each cake. Once the chips melt slightly, spread the chocolate with a knife. Cool completely for about 30 minutes and store loosely covered.
