Create a batch of classic spring fête treats that will sell out quickly!
Ingredients:
  • 500.95 gm caster sugar
  • 20.00 ml brown vinegar
  • 100s and 1000s, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Place paper cases in two 12-hole mini muffin pans, each with a 1 1/2 tablespoon capacity.
  • Combine sugar, vinegar, and 1 cup of cold water in a sturdy saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously for 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium-high and let it boil undisturbed for 12-15 minutes until it caramelizes and turns golden. Set aside for 1 minute until bubbles settle.
  • Efficiently transfer the toffee into paper cases, then sprinkle with hundreds and thousands. Allow to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes or until firm.
