Transform fresh mint leaves into a refreshing Mint Julep cocktail with this easy recipe!
Ingredients:
  • 125.00 ml dry ginger ale, chilled
  • 16 fresh mint leaves
  • 60ml bourbon
  • 750.00 ml crushed ice (see note), to serve
  • Mint sprigs, to serve
Instructions:
  • Pour 2 teaspoons of sugar and 1/4 cup of dry ginger ale into each 1 1/2 cup highball glass. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  • Split the mint evenly among the glasses. Gently crush the leaves using a muddler or wooden spoon. Evenly pour bourbon and ice into each glass. Stir well, making sure the mint stays at the bottom. Garnish with mint sprigs and straws before serving.
