Baked apple crumble with sweet syrup and oats.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups peeled, cored and sliced apples
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to create the perfect cooking environment for your dish.
  • Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl until crumbly. Press half of the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with sliced apples.
  • Combine white sugar, cornstarch, water, and vanilla in a saucepan. Simmer and stir until thick and clear, for about 10 minutes. Pour over apples and top with remaining crumble mixture.
  • Bake until bubbly and golden, about 45 minutes in a preheated oven.
