Whip up some easy and irresistible ginger snap cookies with minimal fuss and maximum flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar for decoration
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine the brown sugar, oil, molasses, and egg in a large bowl until well blended.
  • Add in a delightful blend of flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt into the molasses mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls, coat each ball in white sugar, and space them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until the center is firm, for about 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven. Then, let it cool on wire racks.
