Indulge in frozen bananas coated in rich chocolate for a creamy and delightful summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • 10 ice pop sticks
  • 5 very ripe bananas, peeled and halved crosswise
  • 1 (16 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 10 tablespoons flaked coconut, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Skewer each banana with a pop stick and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze for approximately 2 hours, or until the bananas are solid.
  • In a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl, melt the chocolate and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until fully melted (1 to 3 minutes, depending on your microwave).
  • Dip frozen bananas in warm chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Optionally coat with coconut. Transfer to parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until chocolate sets.
