Delightful layered jar filled with Monster Cookie mix, a quick and delicious chocolate-peanut butter treat gift for neighbors, teachers, and friends.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (6 oz) or finely chopped chocolate-covered peanut butter cup candies
  • 1 quart-size canning jar
  • 2 to 3 cups miniature candy-coated chocolate baking bits
Instructions:
  • Combine the cookie mix and chocolate chips in a large bowl, then transfer the mixture into the jar.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Seal with the lid.
  • Wrap a small round of fabric around the jar and tie a ribbon into a bow for an elegant finishing touch.
  • Prepare your Monster Cookie Mix by adding 1 stick of softened butter and 1 egg to the contents of the jar. Shape the dough into large balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
