Double Almond Bark: Almond bark with a dash of almond extract for an easy and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (20 oz) vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), cut into pieces
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Chex Mix® Muddy Buddies® Peppermint Bark snack mix, coarsely crushed
Instructions:
  • Begin by melting almond bark in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add marshmallows and butter, heating until smooth and well combined, stirring occasionally. Gently fold in cranberries, almond extract, and snack mix until fully incorporated, creating a thick and stiff mixture.
  • Roll the warm mixture between two sheets of waxed paper to a thickness of 1/2 to 3/4 inch using a rolling pin. Remove the top sheet of waxed paper, then transfer the bottom sheet and the mixture onto a cookie sheet, if preferred. Refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes, or until set. Cut into pieces.
