Festive chocolate-dipped peanut butter heart cookies: Muddy Hearts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 (12 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix together the egg, peanut butter, and sugar until the dough reaches a slightly dry consistency. If it's too wet, gradually add a small amount of sugar until desired texture is achieved.
  • Sandwich the dough between two sheets of wax paper and roll it out to a 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to shape the dough.
  • Arrange the hearts on the lined baking sheet.
  • Bake until the edges turn golden, about 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • Microwave the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted.
  • Coat each cookie in the luscious melted chocolate, ensuring both the bottom and sides are completely covered.
  • Transfer the cookies onto a sheet of wax paper to cool and set.
