Elevate your Aussie meat pie with this delicious side dish!
Ingredients:
  • 510.00 gm chicken style liquid stock
  • 500g packet frozen peas
  • 20.60 gm milk
  • 9.20 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes
Instructions:
  • 1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the stock to a boil. 2. Add peas and cook for 5 minutes until tender. 3. Drain the peas, saving 1/4 cup of the stock.
  • In a food processor, combine peas, milk, and reserved stock. Process until nearly smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with chili flakes, and serve. For a chunky pea mash alternative, mix cooked peas with milk and reserved stock in a heatproof bowl. Mash with a potato masher until combined and chunky.
