Make gourmet pretzel roll hot dogs with zesty apple slaw for a fun and tasty twist on a classic!
Ingredients:
  • 2 small bulbs fennel, thinly sliced
  • 1 head radicchio, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple, peeled, julienned
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 6 hot dogs
  • 6 pretzel rolls, split
  • 1/4 cup mustard
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. Combine fennel, radicchio, and apple in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper. Drizzle dressing over fennel mixture and toss to combine. Keep at room temperature or chill until serving.
  • Grill hot dogs over medium heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until hot. Toast rolls on the grill, cut sides down, for the last 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Spread a generous amount of tangy mustard on the toasted sides of each roll. Nestle the perfectly grilled hot dogs into the rolls and pile high with the refreshing slaw.
