Nantucket Cranberry Sauce

Simmer cranberries with orange juice, maple syrup, brown sugar, and butter for a delicious Thanksgiving relish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
Instructions:
  • Combine orange juice, maple syrup, molasses, brown sugar, butter, and salt in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Lower heat, mix in cranberries, and cook for 10 minutes until they pop. Increase heat to boil. Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture reduces to around 1 3/4 cups, about 10 minutes. Cool, cover, and chill until ready to use.
