Indulgent oozy self-saucing pudding topped with luscious Cadbury Neapolitan chocolate blocks.
Ingredients:
  • 80g unsalted butter, melted, cooled slightly, plus extra, to grease
  • 225g (1 1/2 cups) self-raising flour
  • 300g (1 1/2 cups, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 70g (2/3 cup) cocoa powder
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 8.80 gm vanilla extract
  • 4 x 178g Cadbury Neapolitan blocks
  • Dollop cream or ice-cream, to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan forced, then generously grease a 6cm deep, 19 x 29cm baking dish with the extra butter.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, 155g (3/4 cup) brown sugar, and 35g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder. Add butter, milk, egg, and vanilla, then mix thoroughly. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared dish.
  • In a heatproof jug, mix together the remaining cocoa powder, remaining brown sugar, and 375ml (1 1/2 cups) boiling water. Stir well. Pour the sauce over the pudding mixture by gently pouring it over the back of a large metal spoon. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pudding is gently firm to the touch. Place 3 whole chocolate blocks on top of the pudding and break up the remaining block into rows to fill any gaps. Bake for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chocolate slightly melts. Serve and enjoy!
