Neapolitan Cream Cheese Bars

Award-winning layered bar dessert with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Strawberry Mist™ Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix cookie mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until a soft dough forms. Press dough into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and the remaining 2 eggs until smooth. Spread mixture over the cookie base.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until firm. Let cool for 30 minutes, then spread frosting over the cream cheese layer. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until cold. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows to make bars. Store covered in the refrigerator.
