Newfie Rice Pudding

Delicious rice pudding, a taste of Newfoundland comfort.
Ingredients:
2cups cookedrice
1 (12 ounce) canevaporated milk (such as Carnation ®)
1cupraisins
2 small eggs
0.25 cupwhite sugar
0.25 cupbrown sugar
1tablespooncustard powder
1tablespoonvanilla extract
1pinchground nutmeg
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
Combine rice, evaporated milk, raisins, eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, custard powder, and vanilla extract in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in the oven preheated to perfection until a knife poked in the center of the pudding emerges clean, around 30 minutes.
