Indulgent make-ahead chocolate fridge slice with biscuits, marshmallows, nuts, and dried fruit - ideal for easy entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 143g packets Baci Perugina Original Dark Chocolates, unwrapped, plus extra, chopped, to serve
  • 200g digestive biscuits, broken into pieces
  • 125.00 ml vanilla marshmallows, halved
  • 125.00 ml dried cranberries, plus extra to serve
  • 125.00 ml pistachio kernels, toasted, plus extra, chopped, to serve
  • 2 x 200g blocks dark chocolate, chopped
  • 200g block milk chocolate, chopped
  • 250g butter, chopped
  • 110.55 gm golden syrup
  • Dutch processed cocoa powder, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 7cm-deep, 9.5cm x 19.5cm loaf pan by greasing it and lining the base and sides with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang on all sides. Halve the Baci chocolates, then mix them with biscuits, marshmallows, cranberries, and pistachios in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Combine dark and milk chocolate, butter and golden syrup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring halfway through until melted and smooth. Mix chocolate mixture with biscuit mixture until well combined, then transfer into prepared pan. Smooth the surface and gently tap the pan on the counter to remove air bubbles. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight until firm.
  • Transfer the dish onto a serving plate and let it rest for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cocoa powder, and garnish with additional Baci chocolates, cranberries, and pistachios. Serve.
