No-Bake Oatmeal Bars

Create irresistible no-bake cereal bars with just 8 simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup diced dried fruit and raisin mixture
  • 2 cups Wheaties™ cereal
  • 1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions:
  • Grease a 9-inch square pan generously with a light coating of butter.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, bring sugar, butter, honey, and cinnamon to a boil while constantly stirring. Let it boil for 1 minute, continuing to stir. Remove from heat and mix in dried fruit, followed by the rest of the ingredients.
  • Press the mixture evenly into the pan using the back of a wooden spoon. Allow it to cool completely for around 30 minutes. To make bars, cut the cooled mixture into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store the bars loosely covered at room temperature.
