Spicy low-carb chili with lean beef, jalapeños, and canned tomatoes slow-cooked for a simple and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 pounds 80% lean ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 0.5 (4 ounce) can Tamed™ diced jalapeno peppers
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and stir ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and crumbly and the onion is translucent, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain the mixture in a colander.
  • Add all the flavorful ingredients to the slow cooker with the meat mixture and give it a good stir to combine.
  • Simmer on Low heat for 8 hours, occasionally adding water to reach desired chili consistency.
