Indulge in a guilt-free apple pie with natural sweetness and tanginess - no added sugar needed! A delicious twist on a traditional treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 cups sliced green apples
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine 1/3 cup apple juice concentrate, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Let it sit for later.
  • Simmer juicy apples in a large saucepan with sweet apple juice until tender, around 10 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture and simmer until thickened. Take off the heat.
  • Place the flavorful apple filling into the pastry-lined pie plate, then cover it with the top crust. Seal and flute the edges and create steam vents on top.
  • Bake until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown in the preheated oven, approximately 45 minutes.
