Elevate your chocolate chip cookies with toasted hazelnuts and toffee for a delicious and unique twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 1 3/4 cups chopped hazelnuts (filberts), toasted
  • 1 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread with cocoa
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of hazelnut spread with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture on low speed until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips and 1 cup of hazelnuts.
  • Spoon tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, ensuring they are 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Let them cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks. Allow the cookies to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Place 1 cup of hazelnut spread in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth, then drizzle over cookies and sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 cup of hazelnuts.
