Indulgent homemade dark beer nut ice cream for a sophisticated palate.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup cold dark beer
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup beer nuts
Instructions:
  • Combine whipping cream, beer, brown sugar, and vanilla in a chilled large bowl, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Transfer the mixture into a 1-quart ice-cream freezer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and freeze for 20 to 25 minutes until the ice cream reaches a soft consistency.
  • Gently mix nuts into the ice cream base. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart container, cover with a lid, and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.
