Indulgent chocolate cake with a crunchy baked-on topping, no frosting required.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and lightly grease the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan. Combine chocolate chips, brown sugar, and pecans, then set aside.
  • Before baking the cake as directed on the box for a 13x9-inch pan, generously sprinkle the chocolate chip mixture on top of the batter in the pan to add a delightful twist to your creation.
  • Cover tightly and store.
