Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups milk
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Combine milk, eggs, and applesauce in a mixing bowl. Gradually mix into the flour mixture until the batter is smooth.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat. Spoon the batter onto the griddle, cook until bubbles form and edges are dry (3 to 4 minutes), flip, and brown the other side (1 to 2 minutes). Repeat with remaining batter.
