Slow cook elk roast with condensed soup, onion, and seasonings until tender, shred and serve over your choice of noodles, potatoes, or rice.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds elk roast
  • 1.5 tablespoons steak seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of onion soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle elk roast generously with steak seasoning and sage, then transfer it into a slow cooker.
  • Combine condensed soup, water, onion, and garlic in a bowl; pour over roast. Cook on Low until meat is fork-tender, 5 to 7 hours. Stir in sour cream and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Shred the meat using a fork and mix it back into the slow cooker with the sauce.
