Elevate chicken burgers with Swiss cheese, sweet chutney, and aromatic spices for a gourmet twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 small chicken breast fillets
  • 30g butter
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 (about 575g) small green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 8.00 gm brown sugar
  • 4 thick slices multigrain bread, toasted
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • Tomato chutney, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and lightly spray with oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the pan and cover with foil on a plate.
  • 1. Melt butter in a hot frying pan until foamy. Toss in the fennel seeds, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Introduce cabbage and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until cabbage softens. Sprinkle sugar, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Arrange the bread on individual serving plates. Layer with cheese, cabbage mixture, chicken, and a spoonful of tomato chutney on top.
