Spice up your BBQ with Italian chicken patties!
Ingredients:
  • 500g chicken mince
  • 125.00 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 62.50 ml semi-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped fresh basil
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 4 x 2cm-thick slices ciabatta bread
  • 132.50 gm Taylor’s Avocado and garlic dressing
  • 4 butter lettuce leaves
  • 2 roma tomatoes, thickly sliced
  • 82.50 ml shaved parmesan
Instructions:
  • Mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil in a big bowl. Form the mixture into four oval-shaped patties that are 2cm thick.
  • Prepare barbecue plate or chargrill by lightly spraying with oil and heating over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • Spray both sides of the bread with oil and cook until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Spread the toasted bread with 1/3 cup of dressing, then top with lettuce, tomato, patties, and Parmesan. Serve with a drizzle of the remaining dressing.
