"Zesty orange sugar cookies filled with creamy white chocolate chips for a nostalgic twist on a Creamsicle® ice pop!"
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 5 drops yellow food coloring
  • 2 drops red food coloring
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
  • In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter using an electric mixer until creamy. Mix in egg yolks, extracts, and food coloring. Fold in flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar, then gently fold in white chocolate chips.
  • Roll the dough into balls and place them on the lined cookie sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 11 minutes until the edges turn golden. Be careful not to overbake. Let the cookies cool on the sheets for 1 to 2 minutes before transferring to cooling racks.
