Versatile and flavorful orange marmalade chicken ready in under an hour using any chicken cut.
Ingredients:
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek
  • 0.5 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the drumsticks with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then place them in an oven-proof dish.
  • Place in the hot oven for 20 minutes until golden brown and delicious.
  • In a small bowl, mix together orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, barbeque sauce, sambal oelek, and soy sauce.
  • Take the dish out of the oven and generously coat the chicken with the delectable marmalade mixture. Pop it back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken, generously brush with the flavorful marmalade mixture, then bake for an additional 10 minutes until fully cooked and juices run clear. Check with an instant-read thermometer for doneness at 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) near the bone.
  • Take the dish out of the oven and generously brush the chicken with the remaining marmalade mixture. Now, switch your oven to broil setting. Place the dish back in the oven and broil until the chicken gets slightly charred and caramelized, about 3 to 5 minutes.
