Tangy orange-ginger-soy salmon glaze serves 4.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 (1 pound) salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges
Instructions:
  • Combine the vibrant flavors of orange juice, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and ginger in a small bowl for a burst of deliciousness.
  • Place the salmon in a shallow dish and generously coat with the orange juice mixture, reserving 3 tablespoons for later. Allow the salmon to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Place the salmon in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil and gently pat it dry with paper towels. Discard the marinade and spoon 1 tablespoon of the reserved orange juice mixture over the salmon; season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, approximately 6 minutes. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of orange juice mixture over the salmon. Bake for an additional 6 to 9 minutes or until the fish easily flakes with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.
