Try these zesty orange-glazed snap peas with carrots for a quick and unique side dish. Ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (1 pound) frozen snap pea pods
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded (2/3 cup)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare pea pods and carrot according to package instructions.
  • As the pea pods and carrot simmer, combine the remaining ingredients in a 1-quart saucepan. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  • Drain the vegetables, then generously coat them with the delicious sauce and mix well.
