Make decadent almond chocolate toffee truffles with only 5 ingredients!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, chopped, toasted
Instructions:
  • Place chocolate chips in a large microwavable bowl and microwave on High for about 1 minute until softened. Stir until smooth. If not completely softened, continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring after each time, until smooth.
  • Blend luxurious whipping cream into rich, velvety chocolate until it glistens. Fold in tangy orange peel and crunchy toffee bits. Chill, covered, for approximately 2 hours until set.
  • Put almonds in a small bowl. Shape chocolate mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll the balls in almonds, pressing gently to coat them. Put them on an ungreased cookie sheet or in paper candy cups. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until firm. Take out of the refrigerator 20 minutes before serving.
