Whip up a cozy citrus treat with warm, sweet oranges - perfect for chilly days! Quick and simple to make.
Ingredients:
  • 45g (1/4 cup) hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 3 oranges, peeled, white pith removed, cut into 1cm-thick slices
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) honey
  • Low-fat vanilla ice-cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat a small non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add hazelnuts and cook, tossing occasionally, for 3 minutes until they are lightly toasted. Transfer the hazelnuts to a heatproof bowl.
  • Combine the orange and honey in a pan over gentle heat. Cook, turning occasionally, for 2 minutes until the honey begins to simmer.
  • Distribute the orange slices into individual bowls, then generously drizzle syrup and sprinkle hazelnuts on top. Enjoy with ice cream, if preferred.
