Decadent Oreo quick bread with white chocolate glaze. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 1.25 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®), divided
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, ensuring a 2-inch overhang on all sides.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl and whisk until well blended.
  • Combine sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla in a bowl and whisk until well mixed. Then whisk in the sour cream.
  • Spread the creamy sour cream mixture over the flour mixture, blending gently with a rubber spatula. Gently incorporate 1 cup of crushed cookies. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Top the cake with white chocolate chips and crushed cookies right after baking in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Using the parchment paper overhang, elegantly lift the loaf out of the pan and let it cool before sprinkling with powdered sugar.
