Quick and easy teriyaki chicken thighs made from scratch will delight your whole family.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook and stir occasionally until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  • Place the chicken thighs in an oven-safe casserole dish and drizzle half of the teriyaki sauce over them.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, brushing thighs with sauce every 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
