Juicy baby back ribs marinated in teriyaki, soy, and maple syrup, boiled and oven-baked with a sticky barbecue glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2 racks baby back ribs, or more to taste
  • 0.66666668653488 cup maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 5 teaspoons beef base
  • 4.5 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup barbecue sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, arrange the ribs (cut in half if needed). Pour in maple syrup, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, beef base, seasoned salt, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Top with enough water to cover the ribs. Swirl the ribs in the sauce to mix. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and generously spray a large baking sheet or broiler pan with cooking spray.
  • Transfer the ribs from the pan to the baking sheet. Coat both sides generously with barbecue sauce.
  • Bake in the oven until the barbecue sauce becomes bubbly and sticky, about 20 to 25 minutes.
